A branch that tracks deep in Christow, Devon, England. Inside the current national forest and only 13 miles from Chagford. Many (in Canada) have tracked to Charles and Emma; the immigrants. But above there it is a wash with many different sources giving different lines. So a perfect point (200 years ago) for autosomal matching of Charles and Emma descendants; and to start using yDNA testing to help resolve questions of the English history.

One-Name Study
David G. Hoare's work in the area has his father Simon Hore, b.1790 Christow, Devon but does not list Charles as one of the kids. There is no kid born 1817 so it is a possibility. We have not found if Roz captured the line in her North America one-name study.Harold has these mementos of Charles in his possession. A letter opener and letter box. As well as some documents he hopes to scan and post here soon.
