(Felos) DeLuca, 101, died unexpectedly Sunday, Oct. 24, at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Carl DeLuca. Born in Itri, Italy, she came to the United States as an infant and was a longtime resident of Stoughton. Mrs. DeLuca was educated in Stoughton schools. She worked as a seamstress for Cable Raincoat and Nashers Clothing for many years and retired from Twin-Kee Raincoats in Stoughton several years ago. Mrs. DeLuca also did dressmaking and alterations out of her home for many years. She was a devoted and loyal communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. Mrs. DeLuca was a dedicated and loving mother who was known for her kind and generous nature to all. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Robert C. "Duke" DeLuca and his wife Jeanne and Carol A. Lishman and her husband William all of Stoughton. She was the grandmother of Jennifer Hoar and her husband Michael of Westford and the great-grandmother of Kylie and Colin Hoar. She was the sister of Ralph Janaro and Etta Naves, both of Brockton and the late Anthony Felos, Rose Colbert, Francis Miller, Mary Deacon and Pauline Felos. He was born July 23, 1990, in Hiawatha, the son of Dick and Kathy Rebant Lovelady. He was scheduled to enter the fifth grade at Everest Middle School this month. Derek was a member of the United Methodist Church in Horton. Survivors include his mother and father, Kathy and Dick Lovelady, Horton; two sisters, Brianna Lovelady and Elizabeth Lovelady, both at home; a brother, Austin Lovelady, at home; grandparents, Jim and Janet Rebant, Horton, and Betty Lovelady Hoar, Hiawatha; and a great-grandfather, Dale Lewis, Horton. 306 | [[ Her half-sister, obituary: HANSON: Zella Estelle Olmstead- Hanson was born to Ebon and Alice Olmstead of Ponoka, Alberta, Canada, on June 9, 1901, and died Sunday, August 2, 1959, at her home in Decatur, Georgia. She had been ill for a little over a year. She was baptized in 1918 and had been a member of the Beverly Road Seventh-day Adventist church in Atlanta, Georgia, for over ten years. In 1921, she finished her nursing course in San Diego, California. On December 19, 1922, she was united in marriage to Herman S. Hanson, presently educational secretary for the Southern Union Conference. Her life was one of devotion and service to her Lord, as she constantly encouraged her husband in his responsibilities in the educational work o-f the denomination. Her life was one of great inspiration to her host of friends. She is survived by her husband, Herman S. 307 | [[ Her mother's obituary: Aberdeen American News (SD) - October 14, 2001 Deceased Name: BERNICE LORRAINE KRISTENSON Aberdeen --- The funeral for Bernice Lorraine Kristenson, 85, of Aberdeen and formerly of Stillwater, Minn., will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1429 N. Dakota St. The Rev. Steve Meyer will officiate. Burial will be Tuesday in Riverside Cemetery in Moorhead, Minn., with Miller-Huebl Funeral Home, 1111 S. Main St., in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. She died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at the Bethesda Home of Aberdeen. Bernice Lorraine Henrickson was born Jan. 7, 1916, to Johannes and Josephine (Nelson) Henrickson in Fort Ransom, N.D. She lived on the family farm. She completed business school in Minneapolis and worked as a secretary for the president of the Fuller Brush Company. She married Karsten J. Kristenson in 1942. They served Lutheran parishes in Pembina, N.D., and in Minnesota towns including Hallock, Willmar, Henning, Wanamingo, Kenyon and Winona. In 1980 they retired in Moorhead, where they continued to serve parishes on a supply basis. She used her musical abilities in those parishes, including accompanying her husband's solos on the piano, playing the organ for worship services and singing in the choir. While living in Kenyon, she worked with deaf children at the state school in Faribault, Minn. He died in 1983. She moved to Stillwater in 1991. She then moved to the Bethesda Towne Square in Aberdeen in 1999 and to the Bethesda Home in January 2000. Survivors include three sons, Allan (Jaquelyn) Kristenson of Lake Elmo, Minn., Stephen (Jane) Kristenson of Camrose, Alberta, Canada, and Nathan (Joni) Kristenson of Grand Marais, Minn.; one daughter, Karen (William) Hoar of Aberdeen; one sister, Muriel Sandhei of Valley City, N.D.; three brothers, Harold Henrickson of Lisbon, N.D., Palmer Henrickson of Oakdale, Minn., and Andor Henrickson of Richfield, Minn.; and 10 grandchildren. She graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1960 and worked for K.D. Tools and MACKE Corporation. Dawn loved cooking and not only ran the concession stand in Longs Park but owned Sentinellos Restaurant, too. She was a member of Riverside Camping Association and enjoyed going to Lincoln Speedway and NASCAR Races. Dawn especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family in Chincotecque, VA. Steven had a great artistic ability; he designed and created many furniture pieces and concrete items. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a great perspective on life. She later became a LPN and retired from the former Saint John's Hospital. Pearl was a very happy and loving person. She was able to find the good in everyone. Pearl lived for her family and was always known for lots of hugs and kisses. Some of her hobbies included taking pictures, bowling, and playing Bingo. She was a huge Pats fan and Sox fan. Second only to her family were her many dear friends which she visited with at the Salvation Army. She lived for her daily attendance there and maintained lasting friendships. She also leaves behind 12 loving grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
