Her mother's obituary:
Dawn M. Campbell, 69, of Lancaster died Friday afternoon, June 22, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late Alvin and Theresa Diego Brought. Dawn was married to Carl Campbell, Jr. for fifteen years.
She graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1960 and worked for K.D. Tools and MACKE Corporation. Dawn loved cooking and not only ran the concession stand in Longs Park but owned Sentinellos Restaurant, too. She was a member of Riverside Camping Association and enjoyed going to Lincoln Speedway and NASCAR Races. Dawn especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family in Chincotecque, VA.
In addition to her husband Carl, Dawn is survived by her son Mike husband of Melanie Johnson of Lancaster; daughter Julie A. Hoar of Manheim; her brothers: Kenneth (Pat) Brought and Alvin (formerly married to the late Esther) Brought, grandsons: Tyler Turner, David Stoner, Teal Johnson and granddaughter Cree Johnson also her many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dawn's Funeral Service at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 528 W. Orange Street (at the corner of Orange & Pine Sts.), Lancaster. Her family will greet friends at The Groffs from 12:30 until the time of the Service. Memorials may be made in Dawn's name to the charity of your choice.
