Malcolm has been researching the possible English ancestry for John Hord of Shady Grove, VA by looking through early Virginia records. He thinks he has found the story in a John Hore, son of Giles Hore, who was involved in a rebellion and sent away from England. This John Hore is likely the father of John Hord of Shady Grove.
Since a DNA match between Malcolm and a Horace Hord, and subsequent close matches of other John Hord descendants and others (Jesse Munday descendants, etc), Malcolm has been scouring both early Virginia Colony records as well as his information for Gloucester on the Hore/Hoare families. Putting things together he now believes that John Hord was born to a John Hore, son of Giles Hore, who was involved in a rebellion and required to leave England. Giles other son Robert is the ancestral line for Malcolm. See the details in Malcolms many posts on the B09 family branch page.
