      Obituary:
      MANKATO --- Estella Taylor, 92, Mankato, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at a Mankato hospital.
      She was born May 17, 1909, in Woodston in Rooks County, to Charles and Cora Hoar LaRue. She spent most of her life in Rooks and Jewell counties.
      She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Golden Years Club, both in Mankato.
      She married Lewis Taylor on July 14, 1929, in Woodston. He died Sept. 10, 1991.
      Survivors include a son, Neolin Taylor, Mankato; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandsons.
      Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Mankato. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Mankato. Mrs. Taylor will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today through Thursday at Melby Mortuary in Mankato where relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
      Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church or the long-term care unit at Jewell County Hospital, both in Mankato, 66956.
