  [[ Obituary: Evansville Courier & Press (IN) - November 10, 1995 Deceased Name: Paul Thompson FORT BRANCH, Ind. - Paul C. Thompson, 81, died Wednesday at Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville. He was a truck driver and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Alma; three daughters, Jeannie Bartell and Pat Geiss, both of Chicago, and Paulette Horr of St. Louis; four stepsons, John and Mark Stone, both of Owensville, and Larry and Tom Stone, both of Fort Branch; five sisters, Norma Recker of Mission, Kan., Cornelia Thompson of Mount Carmel, Ill., Charlene Thompson and Maxine Benebedes, both of Nevada City, Calif., and Phyllis Kissel of Princeton; three grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Stodghill Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or to Larry Kissel Purdue Scholarship Fund.
