  [[ Obituary: Doris M. (Aldrich) Halladay Age 100, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 2, 2007 at Chelsea Community Hospital. She was born June 15, 1907 in Unadilla Township, Michigan, the daughter of William & Edith (Hoard) Roepcke. Doris lived a long and good life for 100 years. Mrs. Halladay was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church of Chelsea, MI. She enjoyed playing the piano and going out to eat with her family. She will be missed. She married Forest M. Halladay in Jackson in August of 1976, and he survives. Other survivors include three sons, William (Charlotte)Aldrich of FL, Ernest (Janet) Aldrich of Dexter, and Robert (Shirley) Aldrich of Pinckney; one daughter, Betty Bailey of Grass Lake; a daughter-in-law, Clotine "Bobbie" Aldrich; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, as well as many friends. She was preceded in death by one son, John Aldrich in 1988, two daughters, Annabell (Aldrich) Corey in 1991 and Mary (Aldrich) Corey in 2007, 3 brothers, 5 sisters; and a great-grandson, Donald Vogt in 1992. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 6, 11:00 am at Faith Baptist Church, 4030 Kalmbach Road (exit 156), Chelsea, with Pastors Jack Story and Adam Summers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. The family will receive friends at Cole Funeral Chapel Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church.
