      Deceased Name: DOROTHY I. FRANK STORE CLERK, CAFETERIA CASHIER
      Dorothy I. Frank, 86, formerly of 142 Mechanic St., died Thursday in Carthage Area Hospital. She had been a resident of Hallmark Nursing Centre.
      Mrs. Frank worked at the S&H Green Stamp store and W.T. Grant department store as a clerk. She later worked at North Junior High School as cafeteria cashier.
      Born April 8, 1916, in Watertown, daughter of Clinton G. and Jennie L. Horr Compo, she attended Watertown High School.
      She married Stuart L. Frank on April 10, 1934, at Bethany United Methodist Church parsonage. They renewed their wedding vows June 7, 1936, at the Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart with the Rev. J.A. Sullivan officiating. Mr. Frank, a laborer for the Jefferson County Highway Department, later a truck driver and dynamite expert for General Crushed Stone and a machine and forklift operator at New York Air Brake Co. from 1941 until his retirement in August 1976, died March 4, 1995.
      She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
      Surviving are a son and two daughters-in-law, Gerald P. and Lucille H., Calcium, and Marion Jeanette Frank, Watertown; a daughter, Constance I. Jakubowski, Brownville; 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
      A son, Daniel S. Frank, and 11 brothers and sisters died before her.
      The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hart & Bruce Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in North Watertown Cemetery.
      Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
