Obituary:
LINCOLN --- Viola K. Beausoleil, 87, of 18 Cross St., a drawer for the former Woonsocket Falls Plush Co. for 17 years before retiring in 1937, died Tuesday at the Mount St. Francis Health Center, Woonsocket. She was the widow of Alfred J. Beausoleil.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Charles and Alberta (Greenarch) Hoar, she moved to Lincoln three years ago.
Mr. Beausoleil was a member of the First Universalist Church, Woonsocket, the Clara Barton Guild and the D.A.R. She had also been a Red Cross volunteer worker in Woonsocket for several years.
She leaves three daughters, Pauline Foisy of North Smithfield, Bertha Bedard of Glocester and Elizabeth Paget of Lincoln; a sister, Lillian Desmaris of Putnam, Conn.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Holt Funeral Home, 510 S. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield.
