He was a graduate of Lafayette High School and continued his education at Virginia Tech. Greg was a master in horticulture, floral and interior design; he had no limitations to what he could create as he was a true artist. His work and life had a sparkle like no other and he will be truly missed. He was employed by Jones Group in Williamsburg. Greg was preceded in death by two brothers Jeffrey Hoar and Steven Hoar. He leaves to cherish a life full of wonderful memories with his parents Sandra Smith Hoar and Arthur Neal Hoar of Toano; two brothers Bradley Hoar and Timothy Hoar and his wife Annis; one beautiful niece Brandi Hoar; a good friend Jason Hinderliter and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 20th, in Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA 23140. Burial will follow in Williamsburg Memorial Park, Williamsburg, VA. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 19th at the funeral home.
