William D. Horr , Chesapeake

William D. Horr, 88, formerly of Fort Myers, Fla., passed away Jan. 8, 2006. Bill was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army Air Corps where he was a test pilot and flight instructor. Survivors include his daughter, Elaine M. Hutto and husband Meredith of Chesapeake; two sons, William D. Horr Jr. and wife Joyce and Keith P. Horr; as well as five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be celebrated at 9 a.m. today at The Catholic Church of St. Stephen, Martyr. Monsignor Michael D. McCarron will officiate. The interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
