Jessie Marie Hoar, 92, of Fort Morgan died Sunday at Valley View Villa in Fort Morgan.
Mrs. Hoar was born Oct. 4, 1911, in Miller, Neb., to John and Ruby Mercer. She lived for a time in Illinois where she worked for a cookie factory, a potato chip company and a glove factory. She married Calvin B. Hoar Feb. 12, 1931, in Fort Morgan. She worked for Bing''s Laundry and the Colonial Restaurant. She lived at her own home until she was 91 years of age. She enjoyed dancing, walks, sewing and crocheting; she especially enjoyed making quilts and afghans for her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Thompson of Weldona and Mary Eicher of Brush; one brother, Ralph Mercer of Rapid City, S.D.; 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hoar was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin; one daughter, Ina Rucker; two sons, Robert and Roy; three sisters, Dorothy Mercer, Pauline Biggs and Beulah Hash; two brothers, Donald Mercer and Bud Mercer, and her parents.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary in Fort Morgan.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Heer & Jolliffe Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.

72, of Commerce City died Oct. 18 in Humana Hospital Mountain View. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, in the Commerce City Nazarene Church, East 64th Avenue and Monaco Street. The body was cremated. Survivors include his wife, Alberta; three sons, Albert, Alvin and Dale of Commerce City; three daughters, Beverly Bassett of Kersey, Betty Mussmann of Commerce City and Bonnie Barber of Thornton; a sister, Jessie Hoar of Brush; and a brother, Ralph Mercer of South Dakota.
