Newspaper date: Thursday, April 16, 1914 Henry Horr, a veteran of the Civil War and for many years a resident of Waukesha, died at his home on St. Paul Avenue Sunday [April 12, 1914]. He was 74 years old. He leaves a wife and four children. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the residence, the Rev. W. Diehm officiating; interment at Prairie Home Cemetery. Mr. Horr's army service was as a member of the 94th New York regiment. He served four years. He was a Civil War veteran and took part in campaigns with New York's 94th Infantry Regiment. Besides his wife, he is mourned by 3 children: Frank Horr, in Sioux, Falls, SD; George and Josephine Horr, at home. The burial will take place on Wednesday afternoon from the family home, with Rev. W. Diehm officiating, and from there to Prairie Home Cemetery.
