  ... BARKER GEN... FIFTH GENERATION # 89 John was a barber and served as a private in Captain David Wheeler's Co., Col. John Brown's Reg. in 1777. He moved to Lanesboro, MA in 1733 with his brother John where they both had fine farms. In 1786, he was moving to Killington, VT when he died on the journey. He married --- 1755 Lucretia Newhall, dau. of Samuel and Martha (Upham) Newhall. b. 2 Jan 1739, d. --- , m (2) Jessie Mason. All children were born in Lanesboro. Margaret was the 6th child of 12.
