Born in Fort Branch, he had worked in management at Navistar International Corp. in Fort Wayne. Surviving are his wife, Ada Jane; three daughters, Marcia Douglas of Owensville, Pam Barry of Indianapolis and Carol Fisher of Clearwater, Fla.; two sons, James R. of New Haven and Robert J. of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stodghill Funeral Home, Fort Branch, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial at Clark Cemetery, Owensville. Edition: Final Page: 3C
