A place to provide internal Wiki links to industry (company, service provider) names that then have the external links to that company, along with other information. Like Wikipedia, looking to keep external links in the pages to a minimum or isolated to an External Links section and out of the base text of pages. The focus here is on the DNA aspect of the industry and not genealogy. We do include many Ancient DNA resources as they overlap and are used in genetic genealogy.
We introduce sub-categories to further group the entries. A number of companies fall under more than one sub-category. We therefore list them only under the primary category they are known for or used in this project. See their individual pages for all they may provide. Some are ad-hoc and only a website run by volunteers (like this one). Others are for-profit corporations.
