HOAR, Jean (nee Zybala) - With courage and grace to the very end, Jean ended her battle with cancer on the afternoon of April 10, 2006 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Oshawa in 1944 to the late Bella and Andrew Zybala. Jean was a very kind and giving woman who touched the lives of many. Family and friends shared countless treasured moments with her by her gardens and at the cottage. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be sadly missed by all. Jean, beloved wife of Larry. Forever loving mother of Tristanne and Tyler and his wife Susan. Cherished sister of Linda and her husband Reinhard Mantzel and the late Robert Zybala. Adoring nanny to Charlotte, Alastair and Owen. Dearest daughter-in-law of Jack and the late Ethel. Dear sister-in-law of Louise and Wayne Aasen. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, CAW Family Auxillary sisters and friends. Friends may join the family in paying their respects at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE "Thornton Chapel" 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, April 13 from 3:00 P.M. until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 4:00 P.M. Flowers are welcome as Jean was an avid gardener. Friends wishing to make donations may do so to Hearth Place or Hospice Durham. A truly beautiful person. Lives have been made richer through knowing you. Forever our love.
