      Deceased Name: HELEN W. HOAR
      Helen W. Hoar, 81, formerly of 113 Croyden Lane, died Friday at Loretto Geriatric Center after a long illness.
      A life resident of Syracuse, Mrs. Hoar was a member of Rockefeller United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and was a past president of its Woman's Circle and member of the officiant board.
      She was the widow of Irving Hoar, former vice president of Onondaga Savings Bank, who died in 1977.
      Surviving are a daughter, Margaret Brewster of Syracuse; a granddaughter, Katherine Brewster of Niagara Falls; and a grandson, David Brewster of Syracuse.
      Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rockefeller United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oakwood-Morningside Cemetery.
      Calling hours are 2 to 4 p.m. today at Garfield Funeral Home, 515 Westcott St.
      Contributions may be made to Rockefeller United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Hoar.
