      Audrey McLane was born near Springfield, Green County, Missouri, on December 18, 1883, her parents a few years later moved to this state, where in 1903 she graduated from the public schools of this county, afterward teaching summer school one term. She was married to Charles B. Cooper on November 28, 1906. They moved to Ford County this state later to Johnson County and still later to Linwood where death came.
      She is survived by her husband and one son, Harold. Funeral services were held at the Jewett church, Monday
      noon by Rev. B.F. Ray of Baldwin. Interment in Lenape Cemetery. It is a sad loss to all who knew her as a kind, loving and unselfish girl. It is a sad loss to her husband and homefolks who reside at this place.
