  [[ Obituary: Newspaper: Sun News PUBLISHED IN THE SUN AUGUST 1, 2000: Michael Leonard Hoar, 53, of Kingston died July 27, 2000, at Harrison Hospital. He was born May 8, 1947, in Renton to Foster and Laura (Running) Hoar. He graduated from Rainier Beach High School in 1965. He married Darlene Lund on Feb. 20, 1993, in Reno, Nev. Mr. Hoar worked for Todd Shipyard for many years, then started his own business, Aztec Mechanical Contractors. He enjoyed golfing and hunting. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Brian of Renton and Ed of Hansville; a stepson, Michael Lund of Poulsbo; and one grandchild. A gathering of family and friends is planned for 1 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Hoar residence. Cremation will take place at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo.
