  [[Obituary Wednesday, March 17, 1999 Retta Young Hoar MEXICO - Retta Young Hoar, 98, of Perry, died at 6:15 p.m. March 14, 1999, at Twain Haven Nursing Home. Funeral services for Mrs. Hoar will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Arnold Funeral Home in Mexico. Burial will be at South Fork Cemetery near Perry. Mrs. Hoar was born March 18, 1900, in Audrain County to John Morgan and Martha Alice Bratcher Young. She was married to Ormond L. Hoar on Sept. 22, 1922. He preceded her in death July 29, 1972. Survivors one sister, Marjorie Davis of Perry; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers. Mrs. Hoar lived in Perry most of her life.
