[[The following census information was compiled and contributed by Joyce S.

No marriage record, lived near "site # 57", originally buried in Pelham Hollow Cemetery in lot # 175, same as John Hoar. Listed as Washington in 1830 Census for Prescott, Hampshire, MA, same page, but in Pelham, as father John and brother Philip. Death mentioned in John Cowan's memorandum book.

In 1830 Prescott, Hampshire, MA Census Washington was head of household that must have had another family with them. Mercia's family is only sibling that "fits" and does not have own household. J. Cowan writes, "Oct 9, 1839 Marrcas went to Nelsons Horr"
