  Possible generation missing? (Note: By Roz Edson - MrsEdson(at)gmail.com) 1. Joseph was married in 1786 to Margaret Linvill/Linville who was born in 1756. 2. If he (Joseph) married between the ages of 18 and 30, he would have been born between 1756 and 1768, which seems much too late to be a child of Robert Hoar and Sarah Cox. 3. If he was born between 1719 and 1736 (Est. birth range of Robert Hoar and Sarah Cox' children) then he didn't marry and start his family until he was 50-64 years old; possible but seems improbable. 4. Joseph is listed as a freeman in 1770 (had to be at least 21 yrs. old) so he couldn't have been born any later than 1749. 5. I estimated his bithdate (abt 1740), based on the above, which would make him about 46 yrs old at the time of his marriage.
