  Albany NY Knickerbocker News 1944 - 6520.pdf Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Becker, Amsterdam, have announced the marriage of their daughter. Mrs. Pearl Hoar, to Edward Fitzgerald, son of Patrick J. Fitzgerald, 271 Green. The wedding was Saturday afternoon. Nov. 25, in St. Ann's Church. , Mrs. Walter Johnson, Amsterdam, sister of the bride, was matron of honor and John Bucci, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, was best man. The bride wore a purple wool suit with matching accessories and an orchid corsage. Mrs. Johnson'wore a brown ensemble with matching accessories and white roses. Following a dinner, the couple left for Canada. The bride is a graduate of Amsterdam High School and the bridegroom is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy.
