      William Al'bert Colton inspector
      for the City of New York in the
      Brooklyn area, who resided at
      179 Beach 114th street, Rookaway
      Park, died Saturday morning
      at the Lenox Hill Hospital,
      Manhattan, after a month's illness.
      Born at Rockaway Beach on
      May 19, 1906, Mr. Colton was
      the son of William and Theresa
      Hoar Colton.
      He is survived by his widow,
      Josephine (nee Sautner); a son,
      William Colton of Rockaway
      Park and three grandchildren.
      A solemn requiem mass was
      offered yesterday j morning in St.
      Rose of Lima R.C. Church. Interment
      followed in St. Mary's
      Wave Wantls Wo*k Wonders
      Cemetery, Lawrence, L. I., under
      the direction of the Denis S.
      O'Connor Funeral Home, Inc.,
      91-05 Beach Channel drive.
