[5374R] Ensign Christopher-(2) Webb, (Christopher-1), born 1630, died May 30, 1694, aged 64.
Married Jan. 18, 1654/5, Hannah Scott, dau. of Benjamin and Hannah ( ), born about 1636, died Dec. 30, 1718 in 83rd year.
Lived near Fort Square, Qincy, north of the brook probably near School & Fort Streets, was in King Philip's War 1675 (Reg. Vol. 43).
He was elected Town Clerk 1673 and in March of that year was appointed by the town to lay out the 6000 acre grant given by the General Court to the town of Braintree. He deposed Oct. 31, 1682 aged 52, Court Rec. # 2126.
He was granted land in Billerica in 1659, resided there for a time until 1665. He was selectman in 1683.

[5374] S.P. 13:440: Will dated Apr. 14, 1694, probed Jun. 29, 1694: To wife Hannah improvement of whole estate for life & all household goods & personal estate, 2 cows, 2 oxen, my white horse, etc. & all implements for husbandry, etc. at her disposal. To son John 20-pounds at wife's decease. To son Peter 20-pounds at wife's decease & the east end of my dwelling house which he livith in & the land it stands on & the gravelly or sandy bottom before it down to the fresh meadow. To son Samuel 20-pounds at wife's decease. To son Benjamin 20-pounds same. To son Joseph 40-pounds same. To dau. Hannah Adams 5-pounds same. To dau. Mary Webb 20-pounds same. To dau. Abigail Webb 20-pounds same. To son Christopher Webb's children, Hannah & Sarrah 24-pounds equally divided at age of 21 & 18. My three eldest sons executors.
