      Shirley Stacy
      (Died April 3, 2010)
      Shirley Stacy, 82, a resident of 59 Mitchell St., Oswego, passed away, Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 at the Oswego Hospital.
      She was the wife of the late Kenneth M. Stacy.
      Born in Schroeppel, NY she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Nina (Horr) Schroeppel.
      Mrs. Stacy was a member of the Home Bureau, Bunco Club and volunteered as a poll worker for the Oswego Elections.
      She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
      Mrs. Stacy was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Oswego.
      Surviving are three daughters, Marilyn (Mark) Dale of Alabama; Judy (Wayne) Gilly of Alabama and Janice (Bill) Mashburn of North Carolina; three sons, Kenneth M. Stacy Jr. of Indiana; Jerome (Michele) Stacy of Corning, NY and Brian (Mary Beth) Stacy of Elba, NY; three sisters, Clara Sweeney, Mary Jane Bzdula and Myrta Hayes; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
      She was predeceased by two brothers, Alex Schroeppel and Albert Schroeppel; four sisters, Barbara Gladd, Christine Schroeppel, Jean Schroeppel and Catherine Schroeppel.
      Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
      Burial will be in Chase Cemetery, Lysander, NY.
      Calling hours will be held 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
