Frederick Horr Jr. - Born on September 29, 1920 in New York to Frederick Horr, Sr. and Catherine Horr, died on September 12, 2008. Fred moved from New York to California with a career with The American Seating Company. A World War II Veteran. Worked and retired from a long career with San Rafael City Schools as Superintendent of City Schools. Fred was a man of many interests and talents. He had a love of music, the guitar, wood working and restoring antiques. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Irene. He is survived by his son Frederick Horr; his daughter Bonnie Swan and husband Tim; five grandchildren: Timothy, Christopher, Katie, Frederick, Caine; and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Phillip Horr and his sister Jacqueline Driscoll. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service held at Sunrise Cemetery in Fortuna, CA at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008. The family was assisted by: PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY-SEBASTOPOL.
