  Newspaper: Anaconda Standard, The Publication: 31 Aug 1907 - Anaconda, Montana (Summary) James Hoar was a miner who had come from San Francisco 4 months previous to his death. He lived at the Buckley boarding house, Mrs. Mike Buckley and Dan Buckley were his cousins. He had a brother John Hoar/Hoare, and another cousin in San Francisco. After a quarrel, on the morning of August 30, 1907, he was shot and killed by Eli Rucovich, and died within seconds. His body was shipped to his brother John in San Francisco.
