      LEWISTOWN - Dr. Robert G. Bohn, 76, of 285 Cornfield Circle, Lewistown, died at 11:02 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at home, surrounded by his family.
      Born June 14, 1934, in Bellefonte, he was a son of the late Daniel C. Bohn and Zelda L. (Martin) Bohn Magee. His wife, Mary (Bostdorf) Bohn, whom he married May 24, 1991, survives.
      Also surviving are children, Theresa Heller and husband Joe, of Lewistown, Tee Bohn and wife Sue, of Gilbertsville, and Patti Hoar, of Lewistown; a stepson, Timothy Spangler, of Orlando, Fla.; brothers and sister, Wayne E. Bohn and wife Donna, of Mifflin, Charlotte Fultz and husband Donald, of Lewistown, Charles E. Bohn and wife Janice, of Yeagertown, and George T. Bohn and wife Barbara, of Lewistown; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
      In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Gianna L. Page.
      Dr. Bohn was a 1952 graduate of Derry Township High School, attended University of Tulsa on a football scholarship; entered the U.S. Marine Corps and quarterbacked the U.S. Marine Corps Football Team in San Diego, Calif. He was a member of the Marine Corps League.
      He then attended Bucknell University, receiving a B.S. in Education and attended Penn State University, receiving his Doctorate in Education in 1976.
      As for his professional career, he was a Biology teacher and football coach at Lewistown-Granville High School; went on to coach and teach at Clearfield High School; and was an Assistant Principal, Principal and Superintendent in Mifflin County School District, retiring in 1997.
      Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
      In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lewistown Panther Football Scholarship Fund, c/o Jim Johnson, 827 Middle Rd., Lewistown, PA 17044.
