Mother-in-law was living with them in 1880, giving his wife's maiden name. Father's name Francis M. Pleins, born abt 1821 in Prussia/Germany, Soap & Candle Manufacturer Mother's name changes each census, but the age and birthplace stay the same. Elizabeth- Dora- Louisa Neustaedt, born abt 1832, Hanover/Germany Thelka's siblings were, Lizzie [Elizabeth?], Frank [Francis?], Rudolph and Leo. Thelka was second born.
