      Union-News (Springfield, MA) - April 3, 1996
      Deceased Name: John F. Hoar Jr.
      John F. Hoar Jr., 82, of Springfield, a 40-year special-delivery carrier for the Postal Service, died Tuesday in Mercy Hospital. A lifelong city resident, he was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a communicant of the Holy Name Church, and was in the Postal Workers Union. He leaves seven nephews, James F. Haley of Springfield, Henry Kelly of Monson, Richard LaBossiere and Phillip LaBossiere of Wycoff, N.J., Paul LaBossiere of Rye, N.Y., Harold Cramer of Harrison, Pa. and Chris Cramer of Boston; two nieces, Kathy Marmion of Mount Lebanon, Pa., and Maryanne Grady of Farmington Hills, Mich.; several grandnephews and grandnieces. The funeral will be Thursday morning at Hafey Springfield Chapels, with a libera service in the church. The burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are this evening, and memorial contributions may be made to the church at 323 Dickinson St., Springfield, 01108.
