Bryan Sr., 79, of Worcester died on February 21, in UMass Memorial Hospital. His wife Barbara (Perkins) Bryan died in 1978. He leaves one son, James H. Bryan, Jr. of Grafton, one daughter, June Laperriere of Auburn, one half brother Donald Bryan Sr. and one half sister Marilyn Boudreau of Worcester, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, John D Bryan Jr. and one half brother Earl L. Bryan and one sister Barbara Jones-Tashjian. Mr. Bryan was born in Fall River, MA son of John D. and Margaret (Hoar) Bryan and raised in Worcester. He first worked for his father's bakery then he worked at Federal Bakeshops in Worcester. Mr. Bryan was a cook at The Wigwam Restaurant in Worcester retiring in 1984. He enjoyed Irish music, dancing, board games and swimming. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, February, 25, at 10 a.m. in The Robert C. Roney Funeral Home, 152 Worcester Street, North Grafton. Burial will follow in The Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours in the funeral home are on Tuesday, February 24, from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to Catholic Charities, 10 Hammond Street, Worcester, MA or St. James Church, Main St., South Grafton.
