  [[ Obituary: Birmingham News (AL) - November 8, 2006 Deceased Name: RANDALL, RICHARD FRANKLIN RANDALL, RICHARD FRANKLIN, age 77, of the Corner community died Monday, November 6, 2006. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, November 9, 2006, at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Valhalla Cemetery in Bessemer with committal services at 3:00 PM. Rev. Ted Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Randall was retired from L & N Railroad and was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines and U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Agnes Hoar Randall and brother, Robert Randall. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Myrtle M. Randall; children, Julia R. (Stephen) Smith of Trussville and Richard Milton (Suzanne) Randall of Pinson; grandchildren, Stephen (Leslie) Smith Jr. of Newport New, VA, Christopher and Patrick Smith of Trussville, Emalie R. (Darren) Stephens of New Port Richey, FL, and Aimee and Brenton Randall of Pinson; great granddaughter, Faith N. Smith; brother, Norman (Shirley) Randall of Lake Havasu City, AZ and Gordon (Sue) Randall of Birmingham; sister-in-law, Mona A. Randall of Pleasant Grove; and a host of nieces and nephews.
