Tish, 90, of St. Elmo, died 2:50 p.m. Sunday (April 22, 1990) in Lutheran Care Center, Altamont. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Kull Funeral Home, St. Elmo, with visitation noon to service time Tuesday. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, St. Elmo. Memorials: donor's choice. Mrs. Tish was born in Avena Township, rural Fayette County, daughter of Benjamin and Cozetta (Hoar) Logue. She was a housewife and former member of the First United Methodist Church in St. Elmo. She married Melvin Tish on March 26, 1939. He died on July 8, 1964. Surviving are her stepson, Preston Tish of St. Elmo; stepdaughter, Mary Blurton of Ingleside; several nieces and nephews in the St. Elmo area. Her parents, husband, stepdaughter Byrdie Blurton, brothers, John, Nelson and Floyd Logue, preceded her in death.
