  [[ Obituary: Duluth News-Tribune (MN) - December 22, 1996 Deceased Name: Mary Dow Harland Mary Dow Harland, 74, of Klimek Road, Saginaw, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996, in her home. She was a lifelong area resident. She was employed as a commander's secretary with the Air National Guard for 20 years, retiring in 1988. Prior to her employment with the Air National Guard she was employed with Duluth Avionics. Her parents were Laurence and Ruth (Hoar) Dow. Mary had a deep love for her extended family consisting of two sons, Mark Peterson of Duluth and Tim Peterson of Saginaw; two daughters, Kris Tapani of Washington and Sue Vincent of Arizona; a brother, Jim Dow of Illinois; a sister, Joanne Waldron of Minnesota and Arizona; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Bell Brothers Funeral Directors-Bell Brothers Chapel.
