  [[ Obituary: Birmingham News (AL) - December 1, 1993 Deceased Name: JACKSON, FREEMAN JACKSON, FREEMAN age 70, of Greenboro, NC died Wednesday, December 1,1993. He was raised in Miami, FL and was a World War II Army Veteran. He received a purple heart and bronze star. He was retired Vice-President of the Meade Company. Service of rememberance will be Friday, 12 noon at the First Presbyterian Church in Greensboro. Survivors include, wife, Mrs. Joan Jackson of Greensboro; daughters, Dr. Kathryn Hoar of Birmingham, Mrs. Ruth Talton of Selma; son, Dr. Randolph Jackson of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Ruth Ackerman of Ocala, FL; five grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Shepards Spinal Center in Atlanta.
