      Deceased Name: Thelma (Kell) Armstrong
      FORT BRANCH -- Thelma (Kell) Armstrong, 87, died at Deaconess Hospital Monday, Jan. 31, 2000.
      She was born Aug. 8, 1912 in Fort Branch to Hazel (Hoar) and Ralph Kell.
      She was a member of the Fort Branch General Baptist Church and she attended the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 1930. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, Church Missionary and the XYZ's Sunday School. She sang on Aunt Ruth's Radio Program on WGN in Chicago. She was a cook and a waitress.
      She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Roy, who died in 1993; brothers, William Kell, Sr. in 1997 and James Kell, who died in 1991.
      She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Kathryn Armstrong of Princeton; daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and V.T. Cooksey of Fort Smith, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Sheila Goodfellow and Suzanne Cowne, both of Fort Smith, Ark., Mark Armstrong, Anita Gibson, and Judy Adams, all of Princeton, Donna Reed of Monrovia and Mike Armstrong of Alvarado, Texas; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Stodghill Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday at 11 a.m., Rev. Pete Coble officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery in Owensville. Friends may call at Stodghill Funeral Home, Inc., Tuesday, Feb. 1, from 4-8:30 a.m.
