Barge, William J. Sr.80, Fri., April 14, 2006, born March 31, 1926 in Arlington, MN. Beloved husband of Marilyn Olson Barge for nearly 55 years; loving father of William J. 'Jack' Barge, Jr. (Nancy), Robert O. 'Duke' Barge (Darlene), Mary 'Moe' Barge Hoar (Bill); grandfather of Kristen 'Sissy' and Meredith 'Baby' Barge, Hayley 'Hayley Baby' and Noelle 'Boo Boo Baby' Barge, and Samuel 'Samster' Hoar; Bill is also survived by his sister, Marian Johnson of Minneapolis, MN. During his career with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, Bill served as Treasurer of the Minnesota District. In 1964, Bill accepted a position at the International Center of the LCMS. Bill served the church in Church Extension, as Convention Director and retired at the end of 1990 as Director of Human Resources.Services: Memorial Celebration to be held Mon., April 17, 10 a.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church, Kirkwood, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Concordia Lutheran Church, Trinity (Soulard) Lutheran Church or the Bach Society of St. Louis.

Johnson, Marian D., (Barge) 91 of Minnetonka, formally of St. Louis Park, Plymouth and Arlington, MN, passed away March 3, 2010. She was a registered Nurse and worked part time in real estate. Preceded in death by her husband, Frederic Johnson. She is survived by her son, Sheldon Johnson; special niece and caregiver, Deborah Helland; other nieces and nephews, Sandra Wolner, Lionel Johnson, David Johnson, Noel Johnson Nykreim, Steven Johnson, William Barge, Robert Barge, and Mary Barge Hoar. Memorial service will take place on her birthday, March 17, 10 AM at Westwood Lutheran Church Chapel, 9001 Cedar Lake Road. Interment will be at 11 AM May 1, at Brown Cemetery in Henderson, MN.
