Lefler, Virginia Webster, 81, died February 8, 2002 at her home in Charlotte, NC. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 11 at Myers Park United Methodist Church with the Reverend Ron Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Mrs. Lefler, a daughter of the late George Beeler Webster and Gertrude Wight Horr Webster was born in Dallas, TX. Ginny moved with her family to Fort Lauderdale, FL and later married Robert W. Lefler. She lovingly supported her husband while he was in World War II, college, and dental school. She also managed a dental practice while raising five children. Ginny's legacy is a celebration of life devoted to her large family. A loving wife and mother, Mrs. Lefler is survived by four daughters, Barbara A. Cribbs and her husband, David, of Charlotte, NC, Carol V. Simmons and her husband, Paul, of Jupiter, FL, Susan D. Flanagan of Austin, TX, and Elizabeth Kay Ryan and her husband, Hugh, of Chicago, IL; a son, Robert W. Lefler, Jr. and his wife, Jennifer, of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by a sister, Shirley Daniels and her husband, Ray, of Marion, NC; and twelve grandchildren. Mrs. Lefler was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Dr. Robert Wendell Lefler; son-in-law, Calvin B. Flanagan; and grandson, Michael J. Ryan.
