      Deceased Name: Donald W. Temple Jr.
      U.S. Navy veteran was mechanic for Atlas Services
      Donald W. Temple Jr., 48, of East Finley Township, died Saturday, September 8, 2007, in Monongahela Valley Hospital.
      He was born March 21, 1959, in Washington, a son of Donald W. Temple Sr. of Washington and Shirley Martin Hopkins of Claysville.
      Mr. Temple was a member of Ohio Valley Baptist Church, American Legion Post 175, Washington, and Fraternal Order of Moose, Washington.
      He was a U.S. Navy veteran and was employed as a mechanic for Atlas Services, Eighty Four.
      On March 17, 1979, he married Debbie Crow, who survives.
      Also surviving are two daughters, Nicole (Doug) Horr of West Alexander and Jackie Temple of East Finley Township; four grandchildren, Caitlin, Matthew, Amy and Garrett; maternal grandmother Verna Evans of Washington; a brother, Rodney (Patricia) Temple of Washington; and a niece, Elizabeth Temple.
      Deceased is a daughter, Jennifer Temple.
      Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday in Hummell and Barnhill Funeral Home Inc., Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, and Douglas M. Jones, director, 420 Locust Ave., Washington, (724-225-7710), where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 15, with the Rev. Mark Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in West Middletown Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to Ohio Valley Baptist Church, R.D. 2 Box 139, Triadelphia, WV 26059.       Deceased Name: John S. Crow
      J&L Steel employee enjoyed gardening
      John S. Crow, 80, of Washington, died Friday, November 19, 2010, in Washington Hospital, after a brief illness.
      He was born January 10, 1930, in Wellsburg, W.Va., a son of McKinley Perry Prager and Martha Elizabeth Amos Crow.
      Mr. Crow was employed for many years at J&L Steel in Aliquippa and American Bridge in Ambridge, until his retirement. Within the last few years, he was employed in the maintenance department at Thomas Campbell Apartments in Washington.
      He enjoyed gardening, country music and working in his yard at his home. His family knew him as "Uncle Piggy."
      Surviving are a son, John S. Crow Jr. of Arizona; three daughters, Diana L. (William) Gottschalk of Prosperity, Debbie S. Temple of Washington and Nancy L. (John) Zikias of Kentucky; a sister, Martha Guiddy of Weirton, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren, Marcy L. (Tony) Piatt, Shawn Gottschalk, Shannon (Tricia) Gottschalk, Shane Gottschalk, Shea Gottschalk, Michelle Gottschalk, Shalan Gottschalk, Shad Gottschalk, Sheldon Gottschalk, Megan Gottschalk, Marissa Gottschalk, Nicole (Douglas) Horr, Jacqueline (Timothy) Campbell, Justin Zikias and Travis Zikias; six great-grandchildren, Caitlin Temple, Matthew Horr, Amy Horr, Garrett Horr, Benjamin Piatt and Connor Piatt; and several nieces and nephews.
      Deceased are a son, David Michael Crow; a brother, McKinley Crow; and six sisters, Irene Kurpil, Mary Johnston, Stella Latshaw, Zella Durilla, Helen Latshaw and Pearl Wheeler.
      Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home Inc., Wilson at East Katherine avenues, Washington, S. Timothy Warco, supervisor/director, Susan Falvo Warco, director, S. Timothy Warco II, director, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, with the Rev. Gary Whipkey officiating. Burial will follow in Washington Cemetery.
