Other possibilities are Clarissa and Lydia. The mothers of these children are not known. Thomas was married three times. In the 1850 census (Phelps, Ingram Co, Michigan) four children, Thomas, William, Marcus, and Susan Colby are referred to as step-children of Eliza (Horr) Colby.
