Sudden Death
LITTLE FALLS. May 20.? Owen D. Owens of Clinton, who came here Wednesday, on a visit to his sister-in-law, Mrs. George Hoard, died suddenly about 2 A. M.. to-day. He had for some time been afflicted with asthma and at times found great difficulty in breathing. Yesterday he said he felt unusually well and having enjoyed a ride during the day, he returned in the best of spirits. The hostess and family being awakened by his call this morning, immediately sent for a physician and rendered every assistance possible, but the dying man breathed his last as tbe doctor entered the room. During his visit here he has made a number ot acquaintances, who sympathize with the bereaved family. The remains will be taken to his late home to-morrow for interment. The deceased leaves a wife, two sons and two daughters. One son, Albert Owens is proprietor of the Utica dairy.
