Life time resident of south Seattle, Marilyn was born to John Leo and Margaret Elisabeth (Betty) Cormiae in Seattle. She was the oldest of 9 children. Marilyn graduated from Issaquah High School in 1954 and shortly married her 1st husband Richard E. Horr. They had 3 three children. This union ended after 14 years. Marilyn met her 2nd husband Peter R. Servo in 1970 at a country western dance club in south Seattle. They were married September 12, 1970 and enjoyed a life time of love for 41 years. She worked at SW Suburban Sewer Dist. as a bookkeeper for 25 years and retired in 1991. Marilyn loved cooking and being outside in her beautiful garden. You could always find her in the kitchen or outside working and enjoying her garden. She would never let anyone go hungry, always offering candy and treats to all who came. Marilyn is survived by her husband and love of her life Peter Servo (Tukwila), daughter Roxanne Horr (Renton), Richard E. Horr Jr. (Carnation), daughter Cheryl (Bob) Lensegrav (Enumclaw), 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, sisters Mary-Lou, Flossy, Karen, Patty-Sue, Laura and brother John, numerous nieces, nephews and brother/sister in-laws. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald and Mike. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 28 at 1:00 pm at Washington Memorial Park, 16445 International Blvd, SeaTac, WA.
