Ferris John F. Ferris, 86, of 1773 Sago Palm, Palm Bay, Fla., and formerly of Springfield, a retired 35-year supervisor with the former Uniroyal Tire plant in Chicopee, died Friday at home. Born in Bellows Falls, Vt., he lived in this city most of his life and moved to Palm Bay 23 years ago. His wife, the former Gloria I. Johnson, died in 1988. He leaves three sons, Patrick J. of Belchertown, Michael J. of Cocoa, Fla., and Timothy J. of Granby; four daughters, Cynthia Ferris, Candice Ferris and Mary Forgue, all of Palm Bay, and Holly Hoar of Belchertown; a brother, Richard of Annandale, Va.; a sister, Helen Figgie of Daytona Beach, Fla.; 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at the Ratell Funeral Home and in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday afternoon and evening
