      HOGAN, MARY FRANCES, 89, of Narragansett and Vero Beach, Florida, passed away Tuesday, November 24, at her home in Narragansett. She was the wife of the late John Thomas Hogan, M.D.

      Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Kathryn (Hoar) Costello.

      Mary graduated from Regis College, Weston, MA, in 1941. She taught at Goff Junior High School. Mary was a communicant of St. Thomas More and Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.

      She leaves three daughters, Mary Kathryn of Arlington, VA, Jean Marie and her husband, John, of Glen Ellyn, IL, Ann Elizabeth and her husband, Forrest, of Arlington, VA, two sons, Michael Costello of Albuquerque, NM, John Thomas Hogan, Jr. and his wife, Catherine, of Ocean, NJ, and a sister, Helen M. Costello of Wakefield.

      A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett, on Saturday, November 28, at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland Street, Narragansett, Rhode Island 02882 or Rhode Island Community Food Bank, 200 Niantic Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island 02907.
