  [[ Obituary: Press Democrat, The (Santa Rosa, CA) - September 15, 2009 Deceased Name: BOTTARINI, Phyllis September 1, 1935 - September 7, 2009 BOTTARINI, Phyllis September 1, 1935 - September 7, 2009 Passed away peacefully on September 7, 2009. Loving wife of George Bottarini, Jr. for 52 years; as well as the loving mother of Kathy Bottarini, Wendy and Rick Singelmann, Natalie and the late David Brogdon and Steve Bottarini; and the loving sister of Marilynne Hoar, as well as the late Vernon Hoar, Jr. One of her many accomplishments was having the family business, Twin Oaks Garage, donate baseball helmets to Penngrove Elementary School. This was in response to an incident where a local student was accidentally struck in the head with a baseball bat and nearly killed. The baseball helmets were gratefully appreciated by both the school and the kids, who were able to use them to be safe while playing. She is survived by her husband, four children, her sister and extended family. At her request there will be no public services held.
