BURRILLVILLE --- Raymond B. Hoar, 85, formerly of Chapel Street, a foreman for the former Woonsocket Falls Co. for many years before retiring in 1967, died yesterday at Zambarano Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Gladys (Lockwood) Hoar.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Charles and Alberta (Kingsley) Hoar, he lived in Burrillville since 1926.
Mr. Hoar was a member of Pascoag Council, Knights of Columbus, and the Retired Men's Bowling Leage of the Walnut Hill Bowl, Woonsocket.
Besides his wife he leaves a son, Raymond C. White of Burrillville; three daughters, Kathleen Latondress, Colleen Lancaster, both of Burrillville, and Ethelind Morris of Keystone Heights, Fla.; two sisters, Viola Beausoleil of Lincoln and Lillian Desmarais of Putnam, Conn.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held today at 9:30 a.m. from the Corrigan-Brown Funeral Home, Main Street, Harrisville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Patrick's Church, Main Street, Harrisville. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Pascoag.
