He was from Rhode Island, and she from Stephentown. They had a son, Benoni, who married a daughter of Capt. THOMAS, a solider killed in the War of 1812. Benoni died in 1831 and his wife in 1827, leaving two sons. By a former marriage, George HOARD had six sons: James, George, David, John, Justus and Amos, all of whom married, resided in Potter and finally moved West.
