PAWTUCKET --- James F. Hoar, 76, of 30l Main St., a former driver-salesman, died Saturday at the Nicholas Marra Nursing Home, East Providence. He was the husband of the late Ida (Trett) Hoar.
Born in East Providence, a son of the late Frederick and Stella Hoar, he lived in Pawtucket for 60 years.
Mr. Hoar worked for Read's Dairy, Seekonk, for 40 years before retiring in 1972. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Deborah L. Tavares of Pawtucket and Mrs. Stella Donovan of Warren; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Joan E. O'Neill of Pawtucket; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Vincent P. O'Neill Funeral Home, 3 Park St. Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
